High Quality Leather for Versatile Applications

ASCOT meets the requirements of various industries, especially for high-quality furniture, with its versatility and excellent properties. For its production, GMELICH uses the proven mineral tanning method. This traditional method of tanning gives the leather a high degree of durability and resistance, while retaining its natural softness and suppleness.

Dyeing the leather is another important aspect. To achieve a uniform color and deep dye, Ascot is dyed in the drum. High quality dyes are used to ensure an attractive appearance and a natural look.

In order to further protect the leather and ensure its longevity, ASCOT is finished with a water-based PU finish. This preserves the natural look of the leather. It also protects the leather from dirt and moisture.

Semianiline – this is the leather type ASCOT belongs to. This special processing technique is a combination of naturalness and durability. The leather remains supple and easy to maintain while retaining its characteristic surface structure.

With an impressive selection of 111 colors in the stock range, Ascot offers a wide range of choices to meet individual design needs. Customers have the possibility to choose the right color according to the color chart and thus to realize their project in the best possible way.

In order to ensure fast delivery, customers can order ASCOT from the stock program with a minimum order quantity of one skin. For larger projects or special requirements, special colors are available, starting with a minimum order quantity of 50 skins.

ASCOT has an average size of 5.6 square meters per skin and a thickness of 1.0 – 1.2 millimeters. These dimensions allow for larger projects without the need for complex seams.

Flammability is an important factor in leather selection. To ensure a safe environment, Ascot meets various fire safety standards. Certificates are available on request.

In addition, Ascot meets current regulations regarding PCP content and AZO dyes according to Section 15 of the German Chemicals Prohibition Ordinance and the German Commodity Ordinance. Chrome VI is not detectable in Ascot leather. The manufacturer guarantees that the limit value of 5 mg of PCP per kg of leather is not exceeded.

With ASCOT, we offer a premium product that stands out for its quality, versatility and ability to meet stringent standards. For customers who are looking for a first class leather for their projects, ASCOT is the ideal choice.
